Objectives
Aims
The primary aim of the Engaging Diversity project was to develop, deploy and evaluate innovative approaches to raising awareness of diversity issues amongst large numbers of people at work.
During the first phase of the project (Action 1) the development partnership formulated 5 key strategic objectives:
- to provide accessible ICT that encourages more people to take advantage of these technologies
- to develop a learning method that engages as well as just informs people
- to find new ways of networking and communicating
- to develop leading-edge training materials on diversity issues
- to enable partners to develop and share best practice.
The Engaging Diversity development partnership has met all of the strategic objectives listed above, for example, creating leading-edge training materials and sharing best practice through our conferences. Please see the results section for detailed reports about the outcomes and achievements of the project.
